- Exit M6 at Junction 43.
- Head for Newcastle on A69.
- Turn right after 3.5 miles at traffic lights (signposted Heads Nook) and immediately left (signposted Castle Carrock) and continue for 4 miles.
- Turn left at T junction.
- After half a mile turn sharp right (signposted Lazonby and Cumrew) and continue for 3 miles along B6413.
- Turn left into Cumrew.
- Cumrew House is at the far end of the village on LHS (sign on wall).
- The church is just beyond.
